WELCOME 2 DA *EPICEST* PAGE ON MY SITE...PROBABLY..2ME

the techblog is where you get to listen to some crazy internet lady (me) talk about her magical experiences (tinkering with tech) in a super normal way.

a little background for context : i've been super into technology since i was a little kid and now its CONSUEMD ME AHHHHHHH!!!!!! jk.
i'm currently a wannabe HACKURRR aka cybersecurity student #mrrobot so most of my entries will be about that. i reccomend checking them out even if you don't know much about cs or cysec because it's SUPER fun and i'd love to get others into it.

however this page is also for my other adventures so (hopefully) things about web development, physical computing, orrr whatever i find interesting will be featured too.

for my bigger projects i'm also going to be sharing my more legitimate documentation/progress here to hopefully help my fellow internet computer geeks and losers... i mean... sweetiepies. you can find them all at the docs page! (psst. you can also click on the folder icon to the left)

well. it's been a Bit. or has it been a Byte. haha ha Ha selfdeprecating laugh Hhahaha ha bashes head into desk. Bash? bash.....haha

I haven't been able to do too much because of finals, but i've done an amount :c ENUFF 2 ROT MY BRAIN AS SHOWN SO IT'S ENOUGH.

NAMELY, i've finished THM's advent of cyber challenge. it was SUPA fun, 24 bite sized cybersecurity modules/rooms
what namely stood out to me was...

>> i got to experiment with SIEM stuff and splunk, which was actually TOTES more fun than i expected! i'm planning on checking out more modules/resources on it
>> there was a lot of stuff especially towards the end about hashing and encoding, so i learned about tools like cyberchef which was fun to use.
>> the social engineering related rooms, espec the one about detecting phishing + playing around with the setoolkit was totes fun

besides that, IVE JOINED a cysec student org and am in the process of writing some modules for them :3 WEEEEEEEE YAY SO EXCITING! navi making it to the big leagues (im delusional)

also finally got back around to werkin on the cysec course i was previously doing xD today i learnt some more abt recon and some OSINT tools. OSINT is personally something i find Very interesting

studying OSINT strategies is also just such a bleak reminder when it comes to privacy and your general opsec ( ; _ ;) i find that an unintended result is often an existensial crisis and the urge to wrap ones house in tinfoil and never sign up for something on the web again. Jk! Kind of...? :c

i was also meant to begin some homelabbing / selfhosting projects but omg I dont have a SINGULAR usb flash drive IN MY ENTIRE HOME to flash the proper OS on ANYTHING. so that's put on hold for now until i get one on my hands and im just researching xD there's some other things i wanted to mention in this blurb, but i forgot :3 so i'll update later. hope uz enjoyed!

well hello there . wink wink . What do we think of the terminal blog layout? the desktop? I think its KYOOOTTTT i juiced my brain for it.

SPEAKING OF JUICING MY BRAIN I’ve done MOST of the coding for v2 tonight. I started on the index and tblog page over the past 2-3 months but i legit finished it tonight in one sitting xD ive been sat coding since about … 5pm? 6pm? and here i am. hope you guys like it!

i tried a new style and MANY new techniques . v1 was my first ever major webdev project or coding project that mattered really so i’ve learnt a lot since my first ever attempt at it and now :3 of course, i’m still not too good, and i definitely want to learn mroe… but im VERY HAPPY with V2!!!! Tell me what u guys THINKKKK!!!

ANYWAYS . im kinda free this weekend + upcoming week so i’m going to try and work and study a lot of things :3 so hopefully this blog will be populated soon . i wanna get my xmpp server running so thats my first priority i guess as well as pickup my csec studies again.
